Weather Songs for Preschoolers
Introduce music and weather time to your calendar using weather songs for preschoolers. There are songs to match all types of weather.

Why Teach Preschoolers about Weather
Teaching about the weather is a wonderful way to teach your children the correct vocabulary to describe what is going on.
When preschoolers learn about the weather, they are learning about the environment and how it may change what they are able to do.
Weather is a great opportunity to teach your little ones to look for patterns and to learn how to create charts showing different types of weather. Make a simple bar graph with the types of weather (sunny, rainy, cloudy, etc.) along the bottom.
Each day, check your weather and add an X to the category to match the weather you are having. So, if it is sunny, put an X above the sunny category.
After a week of doing this, you’ll be able to see how the weather has changed.

Songs and music tend to resonate better with preschoolers, so introducing weather songs to them is a surefire way to help them remember what kind of weather you are discussing.
Some weather songs for preschoolers cover multiple types of weather, and you may want to sing them together before checking the weather out your window each day. This creates a distinct transition from whatever your little one did before to weather time.
Pair some movements to get your little one up and moving, and your weather songs for preschoolers have turned into music and movement time! Hopefully, this will help your little one burn off some energy while singing and dancing.
