Ideas for How to Use the Activity Pages
One Page a Day
Let your little one start with one and work their way through the sheets, one at a time. This stretches out the Valentine’s Day math activity and makes it easier to complete.
Independent Work
If your preschooler (or kindergartener) is a bit more advanced, let them take the lead with these sheets. Have them do the sheets by themselves.
This gives them a sense of ownership and allows them to do something else.
Use Sheet Protectors
Who says these only have to be used for Valentine’s Day? Slide the printables into sheet protectors. Then, your little one can use a dry-erase marker to complete the sheets over and over.
Add Them to Your Morning Basket
The Valentine’s Day math activity is the perfect addition to your morning basket in the month of February. Have your little one do a page or two each morning basket time to reinforce writing and identifying the numbers 1 to 10.
Pair this with the sheet protector suggestion to save on reprinting the activity.
