Why Do Kids Need to Know How to Rhyme
Learning to rhyme is a vital skill for little ones. Rhyming is more than making silly rhyming songs for preschoolers for their entertainment.

Phonemic Awareness
Phonemic awareness is when people can identify, manipulate, and hear different sounds in spoken language. So when littles rhyme, they are showing you that they can change the beginning sounds of the words that are being rhymed.
